lolita at work suggetions

 Most classic lolita is more then acceptable at work. I worked at a hospital and I was encouraged to wear toned down lolita. I would stick to tailored blouses, plain dresses/skirts with either a simple floral pattern or one color, simple boleros/cardigans, hair pieces should be simple flower or barrette, opaque or patterned tights with a comfortable shoe. You will rarely have need for a petticoat but you can always wear bloomers. Classic lolita fits in nicely with business attire and I believe one of the brands makes suits off and on... I want to say Innocent World but I am not sure.
